STATEMENT OF INDIGNATION

We respectfully contemplate that the cause for our country to be a divine state is founded on the national polity, supremely ruled by our Emperors of the unbroken dynastic line, whereby the whole nation shall evolve and advance and eventually aim to unite the eight corners of the world.
The superb dignity of the national polity has been continuously refined from the beginning by the legendary ancestor of the Imperial line, through the creation of national institutions by Emperor Jinmu and the Meiji Restoration, and now is the time for it to spread and extend toward the whole universe.
Nevertheless, in recent times, the lawless and power-hungry have caballed, giving free rein to their self-interest and greed, denied the dignity of the Emperor, carried out arrogant and presumptuous acts, caused unspeakable suffering to the people, preventing their evolution and advancement, and as a result, our nation faces intensifying international humiliation and crises.
The masters of evil destroying our national polity are the elder statesmen, senior ministers, military factions, bureaucrats, political parties and so forth.
The London Disarmament Treaty infringement of the supreme command of the Emperor, the dismissal of the Inspector General of Military Training, the March Incident trying to usurp supreme military authority and the countless conspiracies intertwining the stakes of wrong-headed scholars, communists, treasonous religious groups are the most obvious examples. These extreme vices are impossible to elaborate fully and our anger is reaching bursting point.
Kon’ichi Nakaoka, Tomeo Sagouya, the pioneers of the Ketsumeidan who risked their lives, the explosive 5-15 Incident, the shining example of Lieutenant Colonel Saburo Aizawa are not without reason. In spite of frequent warnings, at times violent, the unrepentant and shameless villains, fuelled by their self-interest and greed, are still furtively enjoying worldly pleasures.
Relations with Russia, China, Britain and the United States are volatile; it is clear as day that a possible collision might completely destroy this divine country inherited from our ancestors.
Faced with such grave and imminent dangers, both domestic and overseas, unless we exterminate all the mammons and immoral subjects who are destroying our national polity, remove the villains obstructing imperial authority and the Showa Restoration, the Emperor’s masterplan would come to naught.
Just as the Imperial Command to mobilize the First Division was proclaimed, we in charge of the Imperial Metropolitan Garrison, have sworn to countenance the Showa Restoration, pledged to risk our lives in public duty, and thus, prior to our expedition to a far off land, cannot but feel deep anxiety about the offensive domestic situation.
We shall properly pursue our commitment by exterminating the treacherous ministers and military factions surrounding the Emperor and destroy their nerve center.
Unless our absolute duty as trusted retainers and foot soldiers of the Emperor is faithfully fulfilled, we cannot avoid being ruined and sinking into obscurity; therefore, those of us sharing the same concern have aligned our ways, risen up to execute the villains, to redress the Cause, to devote our body and soul to endorse and extend our national polity, and as a result, shall offer our true hearts as subjects of this sacred land.
Holy spirits of our imperial ancestors, be our witness and afford us divine protection.
